This week's Facebook Live video featured my first play with the Beauty Of The Earth Suite.  If you missed it you can watch it on Facebook or YouTube.  I also made a blog post about it.

 

Today I'm sharing a stepped-up version of this card:

I mentioned in the video that I'd probably make all 3 the same way, just stamping and heat embossing the sentiment on cardstock to match the card bases.  Instead, I decided to do this with one of them:

It's a subtle step-up, but I've matted the DSP with some Early Espresso, and also matted the sentiment, which is from Happiest of Birthdays.  I also added a bit of retired Braided Burlap Trim, which adds some texture and dimension.

I think this card would work really well for a guy's birthday.  I have a lot of men that I send to that aren't into "typical guy" themes, like cars or BBQ or outdoors/hunting/camping, so I like having cards like this on hand.
