Colouring-in line drawings.  These markers do a great job for the straightforward addition of colour to images.  If you’re doing prolonged colouring you should use Staz-On Jet Black Ink as it will not run or bleed.  But for the quick stroking on of colour that I did on this card with the Regals Collection I was able to use our Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the stamps from the Dragonfly Garden set with no issue.

Putting colour onto a clear block.  In this example I added three different colours from the Brights collection, spritzed lightly with water and stamped a background on Basic White cardstock.  I’ve also used scribbled-on colour as a palette to pick up with a Water Brush or Blender pen to get a softer, watercoloured effect than direct colouring with the marker.  Be sure you’re a member of my Nancy’s Nifty Notemakers Facebook Group to see the finished card later this week.

Adding different colours to a single rubber stamp.  Colouring directly on the stamp lets me make a multi-coloured image.  Since it can take a few minutes to get all parts of the stamp coloured, be sure to huff, or exhale through your mouth a few times onto the coloured stamp to re-moisten the ink.  Keep your eye on my blog to see the card I made with this image from the Corner Bouquet Sale-A-Braton set and markers from the Subtle collection!
