Product Playground

Some days I go to my stamp shelf, pull out a set that appeals and just sit down and create several different designs in one go.  It’s so satisfying to feel like I’ve really gotten a good play with my investment!  I’ve designed the Product Playground classes to give you the same experience in a fun and easy format.

Each 3-month series includes a product bundle or suite in the first session, then a simple class fee for subsequent sessions.

Mystery Stamping

Download the supply list and prepare your cardstock, then join me online to receive assembly instructions. It’s so much fun to craft together and see what everyone creates. Each person’s cards will be unique due to their selection of papers, colours and designs.

Anything But A Card: Tea Bag/Treat Holder

I love to be able to pull out a small RAK (random act of kindness) for people in my everyday life, like the friendly receptionist at the doctor’s office, or the grocery clerk.  These are quick-and-easy to make and carry, and can hold tea bags or chocolates. 

Tool Tip: Take Your Pick + Brush

The unbeatable duo for using intricate dies!  Put the piercing tool at one end of the Take Your Pick (144107), and screw the Brush Tip (#149655) into the other end and leave it by your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

Here’s my TIP: After cutting, put the die with the cardstock face-down on the foam mat that comes with the Brush Tip and vigourously run the brush over it.  Use the piercing tool to poke out any remaining excess bits, and then in the holes of the die to remove the diecut.

Q: I saw this sample on p. 37 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue and read that it uses the White Center Specialty Paper...but how does it work?

A: The White Center 12" x 12" Specialty Paper (161748) is a fun new addition to our product lineup!  Unlike our regular cardstock which has solid colour throughout the layers of paper, this has a layer of white in the centre.  This means that once it's been embossed with an embossing folder and lightly sanded or given a torn edge that white layer shows through, providing contrast and a cool, distressed look.
