Q: I have a new ink pad. I’m having trouble getting a crisp image when I stamp with it. No matter how lightly I tap the pad I get too much ink on the stamp. What can I do?

A: I suggest you temporarily store the pad upside down. Ink will move to the bottom of the pad; the pad will not be as wet on the surface. When the pad has dried out a bit, store it right side up again.
