Q: One of the prints in my package of patterned paper is just too vivid for my taste. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do with it?

A: I suggest you flip the paper over! Many of the brighter patterns have a muted pattern on the reverse side. Another option is to cover part or all of the vivid pattern with a layer of Vellum Cardstock (Letter:101856/A4: 106584) or Vellum Layering Designs (157794), softening both the colors and the pattern.
